I gots mah hurr did: part deux!

BM Breeze was in town for my shower last weekend (more on that soon!) and agreed to do another hair trial. Ah, the perks of having your FSIL do your hair.

You may remember these posts about my hair inspiration and first hair trial. While I loved what Breeze did the first time, it still didn't feel completely "me." This time I asked her to make it bigger and the results were amazing!

My camera was completely dead after taking those two pics so we weren't able to get a great shot of the front. Oh and of course I forgot my hair flower. But I assure you, it's fabulous and I'm extremely happy.

There are absolutely no products in my hair (we also started with clean hair rather than starting with day-old dirty hair; this is Breeze's preference) and the bobby pins were kind of crappy (my fault, whoopsie!) so this is a bit messier than how it will look on the wedding day. Breeze assured me that her up-do's have massive staying power, and of course I trust her.

I wish I had taken a pic of my hair when I took it down. Oh my gosh, SO glamorous! And then even after I slept on it, it still looked fabulous! I wish Bree could do my hair like that every single day of my life.

Did your hair go through numerous revisions or did you have a concrete idea of what you wanted?

  1. I didn't realize your hair was naturally straight (or could become that straight without product!)... I really love this hair 'do and I think its absolutely beautiful! (Although I'd love to see how the flower fits in.)
I can't wait for my trail!

  5. It totally looks amazing! Can't wait to see it on wedding day. I had two hair/makeup trials because as much as the first one looked good, it wasn't what I wanted. I was much happier with the second one. I think we'll still tweak it even a bit more on wedding day - which is in just 8 days!!! CRAZY!

  6. Just found your blog; so cute! You have a new follower :)
I knew what I wanted for my hair but my hair just couldn't hold the curls! It ended up being pin straight by the time I left for the church!
Have you seen the column I write "Wedding Wednesdays" over on the wedding stories blog? Check it out! Maybe after your wedding, you can be a featured bride!

It's kind of similar to how I had my hair done...but not quite.

  8. Your hair looks great! I have no idea what I want for my hair, but I have time to figure it out. I've started to grow it out, and found a new stylist because I was unhappy with the last two trips to my old stylist. So I have a cute new cut for my longer locks. I'm hoping for some sort of half up style or maybe even wear it down.
